More bittersweet moments for us this week, as the pups have all gone to their new homes, except for our little
Jasmine. We couldn't be happier with the families that have come into the Longrun fold, but it's still sad to hand our little
ones over and let them go, especially with these last three all going on the same day. We survived it, though, and are getting
good reports from all of the new owners, including Minnie's. Yay!

The three departing pups were all picked up at a race meet in Gardner, IL, and we enjoyed a beautiful, mild,
late summer day together. It was nice for the new owners to see the four pups together, and to have time to visit and
bond with their little ones in a place that was somewhat familiar, before taking them off to new environs. It was fun
for Bill and me to watch the new families form, too!

The time for departures came too soon! Jazzy, now called Elektra, and her new mom & dad went first. They
were bitten by the racing bug, so we'll see them again soon! Of course, we'll see BB at race events, too. What fun!

Fletcher is baby Summer's cute new name. Her dad is a busy university professor and writer, but she will get
to go to work with him. She'll soon have many new friends, I'm sure!
