Big things happening this week! The puppies had their first vaccination, for which they were very good. They
also had their first big road trip, going about 4.5 hours away from home for a race practice. We were surprised and very pleased
at how good they were in the van! There was a little quiet whining at first, but they settled in for a two-hour nap, then
more quiet "need to potty" whining. We stopped and gave them and the "big dogs" potty breaks, then the pups were quiet the
rest of the way! After several hours of fresh air and visiting, the trip home was completely silent - GOOD PUPPIES! We had
to wake them to take a potty break at the half-way point. They're already great travelers!

We took the puppies to meet Mary Magee of SaeSi Whippets for their eval at about 8.5 weeks. Due to her travel
schedule, we were able to meet up with her less than an hour from our home! All the pups got a thorough going-over, and we
have decided who will be staying with us. Our "keeper" is:
Drumroll, please! Puppy #4, previously
called June Bug, will now be our "Jasmine"!
